Anyone can apply for it, just need to follow some rules.

• Your blog should be 1 month old.
• Update it weekly.
• Write you own stuff don't copy anything from official blog or other's blog. 
• You can take pic from official blog.
• You should have awesome header, template etc

If you got selected as journalist then you get -

• Your blog on journalist blogroll.
• You get J badge on your playercard.
• You will get 7 day's citizenship and  feather ( a hand item)
• You can post on main blog.
• You can PC to staff even if they are blocked.
• You will get purple name glow.
• Your blog link on top of cho.
